First off: We want to say Happy New Year to everyone and thank you for your continued support even while Ed was on his well deserved break from touring and public engagements.
Secondly: The reason for this post! Ed and his team have announced that they’ll be releasing new music this Friday (& Thursday if you’re on the West coast of North America). Set your alarms for January 6th at 5am GMT / Midnight EST.
As you can see we have a brand new look here at Ed Sheeran Fan! We just love the colors and the scrapbook feel and we hope you do as well. There still isn’t much news to report on Ed but that will change soon enough. For the time being we’ll be working on fixing the broken images in our gallery as well as adding missing photos, and a number of small changes around the main site.
Photos of the Grammy’s have been added with thanks to Mouza over at Team Shevine for them!
Hi everyone – Atlantic Records here (hello!),
As we’re sure many of you are aware, Ed is currently taking some VERY well deserved time off from his phone, emails and social media while he creates album #3!
In his absence, we just wanted to share with you the fantastic news that Ed has been nominated for two BRITs – he’s in the running to win both ‘British Artist Video Of The Year’ for ‘Photograph’ and best ‘British Single’ with ‘Bloodstream’.
Now here is where you guys come in… The award for ‘British Artist Video Of The Year’ is entirely decided by a public Twitter vote and Ed needs your help to win! To vote, all you need to do is tweet the hashtag #BRITPHOTOGRAPH and your vote will be registered.
Rules of the vote: you can only vote once every 24 hours + the vote is reset every week with the least voted for video eliminated from the competition. Click Here To Vote Now.

As Ed is going to be off social media during the entire voting period, we need you to spread this news as far and as wide as you possibly can! For updates on how the vote is evolving, follow Atlantic Records on Twitter now.

As promised here are the 2015 concert photos from Ed’s concerts.
I’ve added a little over 800 images of Ed from public appearance and concerts that he’s done finishing out 2015. This post just contains public appearances, another post will follow with concerts!
Ed Sheeran checks out his plaque after receiving the RIAA 2X multi-Platinum award for X earlier in the week.
The 24-year-old musician was joined by RIAA’s EVP of Communications and Marketing Jonathan Lamy and Director of Communications and Gold & Platinum Program, Liz Kennedy at the event.
X is just one of only four albums released since 2014 to achieve RIAA multi-Platinum status, and this also marks Ed’s first multi-Platinum album. The other three are Taylor Swift’s 1989, Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour, and Adele’s 25.
The 2x Multi-Platinum record commemorates sales of 2 million in the United States alone.
